Twenty-nine lots went under the hammer at their property auction in Sherborne on 18th September. A total of 21 lock-up garages in Torpoint went for nearly three times their freehold guide price at auction. (THURS 18 SEPTEMBER)
Located in three blocks in Roberts Avenue, they were listed with a guide of £30,000 to £35,000 but sold for £98,000 when the gavel fell.

Mid-terrace 45 Beechfield Gardens, offered jointly with Hilbery Chaplin, was sold for £370,000.

Cheffins’ next property auction, taking place on Wednesday 24th September at 2pm, will feature a bumper catalogue of 19 lots, including residential refurbishment projects, prime commercial investments, and land opportunities across East Anglia. The sale will be hosted at the firm’s salerooms in Cambridge and online.
Leading the auction is a substantial detached house on the outskirts of Great Wilbraham, Cambridgeshire, which comes with over five acres of gardens and woodland (pictured). In need of refurbishment, the Victorian property has five bedrooms and is estimated to sell for £600,000 -
A total of 29 lock-up garages in four blocks in Torpoint are going under the auctioneer’s gavel on 18th September.
They are available in two separate lots in Roberts Avenue – one with a freehold guide price of £15,000 to £20,000 and the other at £30,000 to £35,000.
They are among 191 lots listed across southern England in the September auction by Clive Emson Auctioneers – the firm’s largest auction by lot numbers in 13 years.
The first lot, guided at £15,000 to £20,000, is a row of eight garages at 2 to 9 Roberts Avenue.
Symonds & Sampson trialled a new venue for their August property auction when they took over The Vitality Stadium home to Bournemouth AFC. 30 lots were offered throughout Dorset and Somerset raising £4,500,000 for their clients.
