About UK Auction List
UK Auction List launched in March 2002, and offers a reliable and professional UK property auctions information service for the UK. We are constantly developing our service to ensure our members and visitors get the best possible support and information when it comes to buying and selling property through auction.
The properties we display in our database are sent to us directly by the UK auction houses, and this allows us to offer house hunters and property investors a comprehensive list of current properties for auction throughout the UK. Please note that our website is for "Traditional" auctions, not Modern Method, and the properties we list belong to auctioneers who conduct only this type of auction.
We don't charge any money for the auction houses to list their properties with us (unlike most property websites), which means that even the smallest of auction houses (who can't afford to list on Rightmove, etc) send us details of their auction lots. So... visitors to our website are able to view properties from the largest, renowned auctioneers to the smallest, all in one place!
There is a small subscription fee to access full property details, auctioneer contact details, streetview/maps, auctioneer catalogues, our auctioneer directory and auction calendar. This contributes towards our running costs - as we don't finance our website through lots of irrelevant third party advertising or other distractions! We keep the cost as low as possible - it works out at just over 20 pence per day for people on our three-monthly subscription and under 30 pence per day for people on our one-monthly subscription. And this includes VAT.
Our service is basically for anyone who might not have the time or patience to trawl through numerous websites and search for the individual auction houses. Many people who register just want immediate access to all available property for auction, and we provide it all on one website. It makes the search hassle-free and allows them to contact the auctioneer directly from our site.
To give you a bit of an overview of our service, UK Auction List displays the properties going to "traditional" auction around the UK as and when the auction houses send them over to us. We don't send out catalogues or email information on specific properties, as our database changes on a daily basis as new properties are added, and others removed post auction. We are not auctioning any of the properties you view in our database, they belong to auction houses throughout the UK and you need to contact them directly if you want to find out more about viewing or bidding on a property or attending an auction.
To search for all current property and land, we advise to only search directly on our website and not via a Google (or similar engine) search, as sometimes these display 'tagged' pages which when clicked on bring you to old auction properties.

Detailed descriptions for each property that you see in the free search area (including unsold lots). The details are displayed as they appear in the auctioneer¹s catalogue, and include the address and a full details of the property, auction date and time - the venue is in the catalogue.
Street-view and Google Map location for each property. Plus Virtual Tours if available.
A link to the full auction catalogue (if available) and a link to the auctioneer¹s website.
Property Alerts that set by you and received on a daily or weekly basis.
Auctioneer contact form and/or telephone number for every property, allowing you to email or call the auction house to find out further details, request a legal pack or to arrange a viewing.
Full access to our auctioneers directory providing contact information for auction houses around the UK, plus to our auction calendar displaying forthcoming auction dates, as and when confirmed by each auction house.
We suggest keeping your search broad and see what results are displayed. If you narrow your search criteria too much, there might not be any results, as there are a lot fewer properties to auction than for sale on the open market.
The auctions take place all over the UK, throughout the year. There is a break over Easter, in August, and another from mid December to mid January. Some auction houses hold 6-7, the smaller ones between 1-4 per year. Our Auction Calendar is updated on a regular basis with dates and times of the auctions as when they are available from all the auctioneers.
To find out more about the properties, or if you wish to attend a viewing or an auction, then you will need to call or email the relevant auction house to enquire further and they will help advise you of everything you need to know in order to view, and subsequently bid for a property (including legal pack information and the fees involved/deposits payable). This applies to the Unsold Lots as well you would need to phone the auctioneer to see if the property is still unsold, or available to buy. You can also view them within their catalogue if they have them, or by clicking on their website link.
