About UK Auction List

Welcome to UK Auction List, one of the UK's longest-established property auction websites. Since 2002, we've been helping buyers, investors, developers and property professionals discover auction properties from across the country, bringing together opportunities from auction houses nationwide in one convenient place.

Whether you're searching for a renovation project, investment property, parcel of land or your next home, our aim is simple: to make finding auction properties as straightforward and accessible as possible.

If you're considering selling a property or land, auction can offer a faster, more secure alternative to the traditional property market. We can arrange a free, no-obligation auction appraisal, helping you explore whether auction could be the right route for you.

Why choose UK Auction List?

  • Established since 2002
  • Thousands of auction properties nationwide
  • Listings from both national and independent auctioneers
  • Property alerts and favourites
  • Auction Calendar and Auctioneer Directory
  • Google Maps, Street View and Virtual Tours (where available)
  • Family-run business with manually maintained listings

A Trusted Name in Property Auctions

We've been part of the auction industry for more than two decades—long before most property auction websites existed. During that time, we've built a trusted reputation for providing reliable auction property information and helping thousands of buyers and sellers navigate the auction process.

Unlike many modern property portals, we're not a large corporation or an automated aggregator. We're a small, family-run business that takes pride in offering a personal service and maintaining the quality of the information we publish.

Carefully Curated Property Listings

Every property featured on UK Auction List is added manually with the auctioneer's permission. We don't scrape websites or automatically copy data from third-party sources. Instead, auctioneers provide us with their details directly, and we personally upload and maintain each listing to ensure it is as accurate, clear and up to date as possible.

Where available, we also include helpful resources such as Google Maps, Street View, virtual tours and auction catalogues, allowing you to research properties thoroughly before deciding whether to take the next step.

Because auctioneers list with us free of charge, you'll find a wide variety of opportunities on our website, ranging from lots offered by major national auction houses through to smaller independent firms whose properties may not appear on larger property portals.

To maintain the high standards our members expect, we focus on the auctioneers whose catalogues we can support and manage effectively. This means a small number of auctioneers are not included within our property database, although members can still access details of their upcoming auctions and website links via our Auction Calendar.

Everything You Need in One Place

Our goal has always been to create a genuine one-stop shop for auction property buyers.

Members enjoy access to full property details, maps, virtual tours, auctioneer contact information and direct website links, catalogues, and our comprehensive Auction Calendar, making it easy to keep track of opportunities across the UK without having to visit dozens of separate auctioneer websites.

If you find a property that interests you, you can contact the auctioneer directly to arrange viewings, request legal packs, register to bid or ask any property-specific questions.

Independent, Ad-Free and Focused on Privacy

Access to our full database is available through a low-cost subscription, which works out at around 20–30p per day depending on the plan you choose.

This helps us maintain and improve the service while keeping the website free from intrusive third-party advertising. Just as importantly, we never sell or share your personal information.

--------

What you get with a subscription (£9.95/month or £19.95/quarter):

  • Full property details, including unsold lots
  • Google Maps, Street View, and Virtual Tours (if available)
  • Auction catalogue links and auctioneer websites
  • Custom property alerts (daily or weekly)
  • Auctioneer contact info for every property
  • Access to our full auctioneer directory and updated auction calendar

We recommend keeping your search broad, as there are fewer auction properties than standard estate agent listings.

Auctions run all year round, with short breaks at Easter, in August, and from mid-December to mid-January. The number of auctions varies by auction house. To arrange viewings, get legal packs, or ask about unsold lots, please contact the auctioneer directly — full details are available to subscribers.

For further information about auctions in general, we suggest having a read through the rest of our FAQs.

(We are a small business and therefore outsource call answering in order to support us day to day. These receptionists might not know the answer to your question, so if you have a question, it's best to contact us via our Contact Form so that we can personally email you a dedicated and thorough response to any query that you might have that isn't covered in our FAQs).

Looking Ahead

Property auctions continue to evolve, and so do we. We are constantly working to improve UK Auction List, expand our resources and provide the best possible experience for buyers and sellers alike.

Whether you're taking your first steps into the auction world or you're an experienced investor, we're delighted you've found us and look forward to helping you discover your next opportunity.

Before you register

If you find auction properties via Google or other search engines, you might see older listings from past auctions — these are usually no longer available.

Our main database only shows properties in upcoming auctions and unsold lots from the past five weeks. Some “tag” pages on our site show older listings (up to three years old) for reference only, so you can see what’s been available in the past.

To check what’s currently on offer, always search directly on our website at www.ukauctionlist.com. Keep in mind that many auction houses close in August and mid-December to early January, so there may be fewer properties listed at those times. New catalogues usually start appearing mid-January, so it’s worth checking back regularly.

Note: Sometimes auctioneers add extra properties after we’ve uploaded the listings, and because we enter everything by hand, we can’t always catch them in time. The good news? As a Member, you can go straight to their website and check for any new updates yourself. A few auctioneers don’t provide a final listing, but you’ll still find them in our Auction Calendar and Auctioneer Directory — with handy links straight to their sites so you can browse whenever you like. Also, remember, some properties can sell before auction day, so it’s worth confirming with the auctioneer to see whether they are still going under the hammer.

Selling your property at auction

If you own land or property and are considering selling, auction could offer a quicker and more certain alternative to the traditional market. You can request a free, no-obligation auction appraisal to find out whether your property might be suitable. Fill out our form and a team member will give you a call to discuss your property, provide an auction valuation, explain any fees, share upcoming auction dates, and answer your questions.

UK Auction Houses

All listings on our site come directly from auction houses. If you’re an auctioneer and your properties aren’t listed yet, get in touch and we’ll add them for free.
