The growing demand for commercial lots in auction was demonstrated by outstanding results in Bond Wolfe Auctions’ latest online auction.
The auction on Wednesday 28 October saw record total sales of over £21.2 million with 185 lots sold from the 201 offered for an impressive success rate of 92%.
Some of the best results prior to the sale and on the day were recorded by commercial lots, results that managing director Ian Tudor has highlighted.

Since sales went totally livestream in March due to the Coronavirus pandemic the market has boomed for Auction House London, with many lots attracting fierce competition. A three bed end terrace in Northolt, Middlesex, had 29 registered bidders. Starting at a guide price of £500,000, it finally sold at almost double, for £926,000.

Its previous record was set at its auction in February this year, which achieved total sales of just over £20.25 million.

Sutton Kersh held their penultimate auction of the year on 22nd October, generating sales worth over £9 million.
The Sutton Kersh team sold just over £4.2 million worth of property prior to auction and a further £5 million on the day. The value of sales for the 40 properties that were sold prior was a record for the team.
The auction itself had over 350 people registered to bid and was again watched by hundreds of people throughout the country. Terraced properties in Liverpool were in high demand at this auction with the majority selling for over their guide price.
