A whole parade of shops with development potential in the heart of a Staffordshire market town is going under the hammer at the next Bond Wolfe Auctions live-streamed auction on Wednesday 19 May.

The block of five retail shops at 4-16 Brook Square, Rugeley, which comes with plenty of extra accommodation on the first and second floors, has a guide price* of £475,000+.

The property currently has a gross income of £24,700 per annum, and this could rise to an annual total of £90,000 once fully let, which would represent a healthy yield of nearly 19% based on the guide price.

Commercial property was much in demand as Bond Wolfe Auctions set a new record for the UK’s most successful livestreamed auction, raising over £30.23 million in its latest sale on 31 March.

The tone for the day was set when Lot 1, the former Sedgley Police Station (pictured) in the Black Country sold for an impressive £820,000 from a *guide price of £260,000+.
