Auction House, the UK’s largest property auctioneer, is reporting the highest number of April sales in the group’s 11 year history.
The award-winning auctioneer sold a total of 306 lots during the month - a 16% rise on the 264 sales in 2017, with a combined value of £43.6m. This included the sale of the 1,000th lot this year – a milestone reached one month earlier than last year. The property concerned was a semi-detached bungalow in Stanton Avenue, Northampton (below), which sold above its £135,000-£155,000 guide price, for £156,500.
