Have you ever considered living on a boat? (Kind of ironic given the kind of weather we are experiencing today!).

Ok, so this one may perhaps not be for everyone... but I know there are people who would jump at the chance of such an unusual home on the water! So, to all you folks out there nodding in agreement, this one is for you :-)

What I have for you today is a static boat that's situated in a popular marina in Nottingham. It's well cared for by the current owner, has been lived in for several years, and kept in good working order throughout. The exterior looks great, boasting upvc double glazed windows. Inside there's once bedroom and bathroom/wc, as well as lounge and kitchen areas.

It's compact, and although it's not particularly modern, it has bags of character and a great homely feel. You've even got a small exterior seating area for making the most of sunny days, and also benefit from the handy residents communal parking area.

This kind of living won't be for everyone, but it will be for someone, and I can totally appreciate the ways that living a simpler life, with a boat to call home, could be a lovely way to get away from the rat race! Don't delay though - it's for auction this coming Friday!
