Two new top industry awards for Auction House boost its total to ten gongs in three years.

Auction House has been awarded another two prestigious accolades at this year’s Negotiator Awards - including silver for Residential Auction House of the Year 2014.

The award winning national brand also took home a bronze award for Franchisor of the Year at the glittering event at the London Hilton on Wednesday 4 November 2014, presented by TV host, Alexander Armstrong. Auction House has had repeated success at the ceremony, and the latest medals take the group’s haul to ten major industry awards in just three years.

Auction House has also performed well at the Estate Agency of the Year Awards from 2011 to 2013 with the results for this year due to be announced in December.

Auction House Founding Director, Roger Lake said, “Consistent high performance is a goal for every business - and for Auction House to have been chosen by its industry peers as a top auctioneer and franchise operator in consecutive years is a remarkable achievement. We have expanded continuously over the period and it is especially pleasing to hear that our standards haven’t dropped.”

The brand has gone from strength to strength since it started in July 2007 and is now the country’s largest residential auctioneer in terms of lots sold, and the 4th largest commercial property auctioneer in the UK. It has 40 auction rooms across England, Scotland and Wales, and now accounts for nearly 11% of all property auction sales nationally.

Roger Lake added, “The results of our cumulative lots sold this year are up by more than 15% to 2,486 with the total raised now standing at £294 million. The auctions market is continuing to grow with more buyers and sellers seeing it as a mainstream option; they are attracted by the benefits of speed and the certainty of sale that it offers and consistently delivers.”
