Tom Cruise is selling his custom-designed off-the-grid retreat in Telluride, CO for $59 million.

The “Top Gun” and “Mission Impossible” actor designed the majestic home himself and had it built by one of the region’s top builders back in 1994. But Cruise is parting with it since he hasn’t had time to enjoy the property much in recent years.

The home sits amidst 298 acres of national forest land, an enviable mix of open meadows and mature forest.

The 4-bedroom, 6-bathroom main house has nearly 10,000 square feet — all with the most meticulous of design details, including vaulted ceilings, dove-tail joint work and native stone and bleached cedar timbers. There is also a charming guest house on the property with an additional 3 bedrooms and bathrooms. A library, gym and recreation room provide entertainment.

The property also features a motocross track and a multi-sport court for tennis, basketball and ice hockey, the Sotheby's listing said.

The property connects to U.S. Forest Service land and the Deep Creek Trail through a private gate on the property.
