Super Sunday AUCTION HOT PICKS!

Super Sunday AUCTION HOT PICKS!

Happy Father's Day to all those wonderful dads out there - hope you've had a lovely day so far!

I've been having a look through some of the most recent catalogues and have a couple to share with you today.

The images for this initial one rendered me rather speechless at first glance, and that doesn’t happen often! This is a truly stunning character cottage in Warwickshire. Grade II listed and not seen on the market for decades, it’s clearly seen a lot of love and care over the years. With original features throughout, in particular those exposed wall and ceiling timbers, this cottage is absolutely oozing in character.

Despite beams sometimes creating an effect of drawing the walls in towards you, in this property the opposite is true, with the rooms having a light, spacious and airy feel to them. This is further increased where doors have been removed to give a lovely flowing look to the ground floor. As for what we can see of the kitchen? Well it’s clean, bright, and with a lovely feature made of the exposed brickwork framing the windows.

Now what about that garden? Wow! I think that about sums it up... just wow! Ok, so we have only been shown a single image of what appears to be a very good sized and mature garden, but if that Wisteria draped archway is anything to go by, this garden has been moulded by experienced and creative hands. I have no doubt that the whole garden is spectacular if it has been handled with that level of love, care and knowledge throughout.

Not seeing any negatives here. This property is amazing! :-)

I really do love finding those quirky properties to show you all, and this second one definitely fits the bill. The red paintwork really sets off that fab stone exterior, adding lots of character to an eye catching 3 bed property in Carmarthenshire.

We can’t see much of the inside from the images, but I’m very much liking what I can see in there! That red and black quarry tiled flooring in the living room is striking, and I personally love its combination of hard wearing, attractive, and steeped in a history the next occupants will add to further. The wood burning stove is a lovely additional feature in this room, and will give a lovely cosy feel on those colder evenings.

This is a really nice one, and we’re pretty sure that it will have found a few interested parties when its turn comes along at auction.

So enjoy the rest of your Sunday, and I'll be back with some more bargain beauties next week!
