Strong Auction Results in Devon, Dorset & Somerset

Symonds & Sampson held their ‘beat the budget’ auction ahead of the announcements on 30 October and report a strong trade for both land and bricks and mortar.

Auctioneer Mark Lewis said “ We thought a few buyers would fall away whilst awaiting to hear how the budget would affect them but, although we missed a couple, most bidders were looking longer term and wanting to earn income rather than look towards capital tax planning.”
