SDL Bigwood’s launch into Coventry will see the city’s largest-ever property auction held at the Village Hotel on Wednesday, 9 November.

Managing director Rory Daly and his team will be offering 34 lots including a mixed range of vacant residential and investment properties, mixed commercial and residential developments, garages and ground rents.

“Something for everyone” said Gurpreet Bassi, auctions partner at SDL Bigwood, now the UK’s fourth largest auction house.

The event at Village Hotel, Dolomite Avenue, Coventry starts at 6pm on Wednesday, 9 November, and already SDL Bigwood are reporting strong interest, particularly on the Coventry based properties in the catalogue.

There is a number of Coventry opportunities, ranging from freehold properties with vacant possession with guide prices from £60,000, up to seven apartments at 18 Albany Road, Earlsdon, Coventry with a guide price of £215,000.

A two bedroom, mid-terraced freehold home at 20 Peel Street, Coventry, will be the first to come under the hammer on 11 November, and comes with a guide price of £60,000.

Other attractive lots include a vacant freehold end terraced property at 113 Holmsdale Road, Coventry, offering two bedrooms, two reception rooms, bathroom, kitchen and gardens, with the bidding set to start at £74,000.

A vacant freehold mid terraced property at 34 Heath Road, Coventry, offers two bedrooms, two reception rooms, bathroom and gardens, with a price guide of £70,500.

An interesting project for landlords is the part vacant, part investment residential property at 18 Albany Road, Earlsdon, Coventry, which has been converted into seven apartments, with two of the seven currently let, producing a current gross income of £8,400. However, with all seven apartments let, a potential gross income of £29,400 could be achieved.
