The first property we'd like to share this morning, is this  4/5 bed detached bungalow in a sought after Flintshire village. It may appear fairly 'normal' at first glance, but it caught our interest due to its flexibility, and therefore the wide pool of interest it could potentially gather.

It's for improvement, so will need work whatever the chosen approach, but personally we find the existing bungalow rather pretty and our instincts would be to see the property undertake a straightforward refurbishment. It may also appeal to a builder or developer, seeking planning consent to demolish the existing bungalow and construct a larger and more valuable property so as to see maximum return for their investment.

So it's a bit of a two sided coin this one. The property itself is rather pretty, as is the mountain view setting, but it's fate will be decided by the highest bidder. Perhaps someone will see it through our eyes, as a pretty bungalow/project property worth fixing up so as to make an ideal family home? Perhaps they will see the potential financial return from demolishing and rebuilding? Or maybe something somewhere in between, such as a builder with the idea in mind for their dream home and seeking the ideal setting, which this undoubtedly could be, given it's desirable village setting with those views to the mountain range :-)

Our second hot pick of the day is this 3 bed semi detached in Bristol. The pics look fab, in particular the quirky and unique bathroom, and the lovely wooden floors in what looks like the living room. There are also some original features such as stained glass incorporated into the double glazing.

While the catalogue entry states that this one is for modernisation, the bathroom for example, personally we quite like as it is in it's unusual but striking current appearance. This house is pretty both inside and out from what we can see in the pictures, and there is potential to expand out into the large garden, or upwards into the loft stc. Seems a highly customisable property, and should definitely appeal to the keen DIY-er as a project property.
