There is no doubt that we have entered a period of unprecedented difficulty as many of us adjust to new ways of going about our daily business and personal lives.

Our two auctions so far this year have been exceptional, and interest is already gaining momentum for our auction on the 7th April.

We have been keeping a very close eye on government announcements and must take seriously the recommendations regarding events and personal contact, in the best interest of both our clients and staff.

Sheffield United have postponed events at Bramall lane and we no longer have the Platinum Suite facilities for the foreseeable future, including the April auction date Contingency plans have been put in place and we can therefore advise the following -

The auction on the 7th April will go ahead, with the order of sale outlined in the printed catalogue and website. Rather than gathering at Bramall Lane, the sale will be conducted on a tried and tested online platform accessed via the auction section of our website. Do not therefore attend our usual venue on auction day.

Viewings will continue as scheduled but there will be restrictions in getting access to the tenanted properties in the catalogue. Where possible, internal photos and landlord videos are available.

To stay up to date with developments, it is essential you register for the legal pack on the properties you are interested in

You will be asked to register to bid in the two weeks leading up to the auction – details will be made clear on our website.

If you prefer, we can arrange to bid by proxy but not by telephone

We have given clients the options of asking for best and final offers ahead of the auction day and if this is the case, we will contact those parties who have viewed the legal pack in each case.

Some clients, depending on individual circumstances, may choose to postpone the sale of their property, but please do ask if you are interested in a particular lot.
