Following the Government’s latest advice, we wanted to let you know that some scheduled auctions throughout the UK are still taking place, however others have been postponed until further notice.

Those that are proceeding have been moved to an online bidding platform (some with virtual streaming), so that you can still bid, but just not in the auction room. Bidders will be able to carry out telephone, proxy or internet bids to secure their purchases, however the auctions will be held behind closed doors with no bidders able to attend in person.

Please contact the auctioneers directly to find out what they're doing and what you need to provide in order to register and bid on a property, including what ID documentation is required in advance.  Also, enquire as to whether any property viewings are taking place, and if not, whether virtual viewings are available for properties in the catalogues.

Timings for auctions might have changed so check in advance as to what time they commence. And remember to view the legal pack before you bid! As advised above, many auction houses have decided to postpone their auctions due to the pandemic, so there will be fewer properties than usual listed in our database. We will add new confirmed auction dates to our calendar as and when advised by these auctioneers.

Here at UK Auction List, the team are carrying on as normal whilst adhering to Government Directions regarding working remotely to ensure the health and safety of our employees. New properties will continue to be added to our database as and when the catalogues are released by the auctioneers; and unsold lots will be listed as and when the results from the online auctions are sent to us.
