Essex Auction Property Highlights

Houses, flats, commercial premises and land across Essex are all set to go under the auctioneer’s gavel next month.

They are among 143 lots listed across southern England in the latest auction being held by one of the top five property auctioneers in the UK, Clive Emson Auctioneers, which ends on Thursday 7 May.

l More than 20 acres of land with potential in the north Chelmsford area, land on the North and South Side of Gutters Lane, Broomfield, is listed with a freehold guide price of £600,000-plus. 

Auction Appraiser Becca Flint said: “These two vacant freehold parcels of land are located at the end of Gutters Lane in Broomfield and may offer potential for alternative uses, subject to the necessary consent being obtainable.

“The land is separated into two parcels with the North measuring 8.48 acres (3.45 hectares) and the South at 12.08 acres (4.89 hectares).

“We are expecting strong interest from investors and developers willing to take a punt on future land use.”

l Just under half-an-acre of land in North Fambridge is also coming up at the auction – land  of the north side of Innisfree in Fambridge Road is freehold-guided £75,000 to £80,000.

Becca added: “This land is situated on the edge of the village of North Fambridge which sits on the north bank of the River Crouch  It may offer potential for alternative uses, subject to all the necessary consents being obtainable.”

The site extends to 0.19 hectares (0.46 acres).
