East Midlands auction house set to top £20m in 2015
Graham Penny Auctions, the most successful property auction house in Derbyshire, is set to top £20 million in sales for the year so far as more than 65 lots go under the hammer this month.
The auction, on Tuesday 21st July at the iPro Stadium, is the auction house’s fourth of the year and features a catalogue of 68 residential property, commercial property and land lots from across Derbyshire and the rest of the UK.
Andrew Parker, director at Graham Penny Auctions, commented: “This month we have another packed catalogue of properties which have been attracting huge interest from buyers within Derbyshire and further afield.
“There is a lot of positivity around the property market at the moment which is driving more people to our auction room with the confidence to raise their hand and bid.”
Graham Penny Auctions dominates the region’s property auction market in terms of lots offered, lots sold and revenue raised. Last year the company achieved total sales of more than £34.7 million. In 2015 so far it has raised over £18.5m and secured an 84 percent success rate.
