Auction Appraiser James Lofthouse said: “This property is well located but has been significantly damaged following movement in the neighbouring wall and therefore is in need of repair or reconstruction.

* In Trethowel, near St Austell, roads and verges are coming to auction with a nil reserve.

Cornwall Council has instructed the sale of the parcels at Bojea Industrial Estate, together measuring a total of 0.19 hectares (0.47 acres).

Auctioneer David Henwood said: “This is an unusual lot comprising predominantly roadway with some verge land.

“The road provides access to a well-established industrial estate, which may interest some of its tenants or property owners.

“Occasionally these types of lots come to auction and we often find they are in demand. Setting a nil reserve gives all parties an opportunity to show an interest while giving the lot the greatest chance to reach its best market value.”
