There are residential properties across the Black Country to suit every pocket at Bond Wolfe Auction’s upcoming event at Aston Villa Football Ground on Thursday 9 May.
New house-hunters and those building up their own buy-to-let portfolios have a chance of picking up bricks and mortar for a fraction of normal prices when scores of lots from across the region go under the hammer.
A selection of two, three and four-bedroom homes, and everything from penthouse apartments to detached houses feature in the auction brochure, with guide prices* as low as £9,000 and £14,000 for one home.
This is for a four bedroomed mid terraced house at 35 Audlem Walk, in the Park Village area of Wolverhampton, while at 9 Cardiff Street a three bedroomed, mid-terraced house carries a guide price of between £19,000 and £24,000.
Also in Wolverhampton, two homes up for sale in Merridale Street West illustrate the range of properties available at the auction, with number 166 a two bedroomed, mid terraced house with a guide price of £46,000+, while number 139 is another two bedroomed, mid-terraced house with a guide price of just £14,000 to £19,000.
Meanwhile, a two bedroomed, mid-terraced house at 54 Norfolk Road in Wolverhampton carries another low guide price of £14,000 to £19,000.
Many of these homes need of refurbishment and improvements, but at a fraction of the cost of the average new home - more than £226,000 according to the government's UK House Price index – they are sure to tempt those with DIY skills.
In Walsall, 40 Wye Road is a three bedroomed semi with a guide price of just £14,000 to £19,000, while in West Bromwich, a two bedroomed, end-terraced house at 19 Oak Lane has a guide price of just £10,000 to £15,000.
Ian Tudor, managing director at Bond Wolfe Auctions, said: “This latest catalogue is a very good example of why auctions have become so popular. Our busy auction room is building a reputation as a hotbed of opportunities and we are expecting another great auction with some strong bidding.”
Bond Wolfe Auctions was launched earlier this year by a team with over 250 years of experience. The first auction on 13 March at Villa Park saw a total of £16.7 million raised from the sale of 103 properties.
The next auction takes place at 10.30am on Thursday, 9 May.
