Clive Emson Auctioneers have unveiled the firm’s largest auction since 2012
There are 191 land and property lots across southern England for the online auction ending on 18 September by the firm, which was founded in 1989 by now-chairman Clive Emson MBE.
James Emson, Managing Director, said: “Instructions to list came in thick and fast for our sixth auction of the year – the last time we had this many lots for a catalogue was back in 2012.
“Since that year, on the domestic front, there has been Brexit, the revolving door of five former Prime Ministers and a change of government, the pandemic and economic uncertainty, from record-high inflation at one point to the Bank of England interest rate soaring from 0.5% up to 5.25% before coming down to the current 4%.
“Throughout all these upheavals, clients have remained steadfast, with many successful bidders focusing on the long term. Indeed, our buyers and sellers are finding our auctions to be an even stronger route of opportunity.
“As one of the UK’s leading regional auction houses, we are continuing to deliver impressive results for clients whilst offering buyers a wide and diverse range of opportunities, many of which you would not find anywhere else in the market. Auctions offer speed, transparency and efficiency, which for many is the ideal route that is competitive - and full of possibility.”
