166 lots listed for June by Clive Emson Auctioneers

A total of 166 lots are listed in the 12 June auction by Clive Emson Auctioneers, regional land and property auctioneers covering southern England.

James Emson, Managing Director, said: “We anticipate keen interest again in our latest auction, the fourth of eight this year, with £22m-plus raised for clients - a mix of corporate, local authorities and private individuals - in our May auction.”

One of the highlights is lot 30, guided at £1m-plus; the commercial and residential investment in Dover town centre, Kent, comprises three commercial premises and nine flats, currently let at £86,700 pa, plus a vacant former dental surgery, former sorting office, two-bedroom maisonette and off-road parking.

Other lots include a plot of land, with planning permission for four detached houses, at Uxbridge, Middlesex, with a guide price of £650,000-plus (lot 3). 

In need of updating, a detached six-bedroom cottage at Horley, Surrey, near Gatwick Airport, has a guide price of £290,000 - £300,000 (lot 131) while a three-bedroom mid-terrace house in Romford, east London, is £375,000-plus (lot 166).

With planning permission for nine flats, a former car sales lot in Hastings, East Sussex, is £285,000-plus (lot 74).

Over in Brentwood, Essex, a mid-terrace cottage with two bedrooms is guided at £275,000 - £285,000 (lot 165).

A three-storey property in Great Yarmouth’s town centre, Norfolk, has a guide price of £150,000 - £160,000 and is let at £16,200 per annum (lot 87) – the ground floor is commercial and the upper parts residential.

A substantial commercial and residential premises on 0.45 acres at Cranbrook, Kent, has a guide price of £625,000 - £635,000 (lot 22); the vacant commercial property used to be a Lloyd’s Bank and attached Bank House is let at £20,000 pa to residential tenants.

Moose Hall, a former community hall in Poole, Dorset, has a guide price of £300,000-plus (lot 26 pictured below) and a detached house with four bedrooms in the sought-after Southampton suburb of Bassett in Hampshire is guided at £390,000 - £410,000 (lot 37).

The Harrow Lodge Hotel with 20 en-suite guest rooms and sea views at Shanklin, Isle of Wight, is guided at £450,000 - £500,000 in a retirement sale (lot 48).

At £220,000-plus is a period home in Exeter town centre, Devon, with two double bedrooms (lot 161) and a former BT hut with planning consent for a holiday letting near Taunton, Somerset, is guided at £43,000-plus (lot 27).

An architect-designed, four-bedroom contemporary home, with panoramic sea views across Mount's Bay to St Michael's Mount and beyond, near Penzance in south-west Cornwall, is guided at £250,000 (lot 125).

Ground-floor commercial premises in Campbeltown, on the Kintyre Peninsula in west Scotland, has a guide price of £14,000 - £16,000 (lot 90), with vacant possession.
